The plein air artists at the Hanover Area Arts Guild — who paint outdoors most Thursday mornings — will share their work this October at Art Downtown, the Arts Guild’s gallery.
The show, Oct. 2-25, features work by six artists and the subjects may be recognizable — from Codorus State Park, the battlefield in Gettysburg or Union Mills in Maryland.
A reception is planned 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Art Downtown, 32 Carlisle St., Hanover. The artists will be on hand to discuss their artwork with the public.
The exhibit can be seen during regular gallery hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is always free.
